Youtube or Vimeo

I have now tryed Vimeo. I think it is nicer than Youtube. Improved quality of the video.

Youtube = sharing random clips / humour

Vimeo = amateur and professional videographers/filmmakers/animators/creators sharing their work!

The result is a way better community, with better quality videos, and people who care about the product.

Also, you nailed it, vimeo has better codec and improved HD content.

I agree with the above, however viewers will find you more easily on youtube, and youtube's monetization works better than vimeo's tipjar or flattr if you're trying to earn a few dollars.

YouTube or Vimeo? Both. Can't hurt to get more exposure, after all. I uploaded my first Vimeo video today, just a re-upload of an old video from my YouTube (link below)
