Think a dandelion is tough to shoot? Try a milkweed pod sometime. This is just smaller than a softball. Just a couple shots with the Tamron 28-75, there's more on my blog.

Outstanding close-ups Bimjo!

Which model Tamron zoom is this? Is it the newer AF or an old Adaptall SP manual focus?

Thanks D, it's the AF version I bought with my Pentax *istD 8 years ago.

Great close ups, The 3rd image reminds me of a place covered by a documentary I watched a couple of years back about the Hubble Telescope, regarding the birthplace of stars, I don't know much about space or stars for that matter, but I can say though that the image I saw for that doco was pretty amazing, and that 3rd dandelion shot looks almost exactly as that image.

Thanks Phoenix. Isn't it amazing what a photo can invoke in our minds? :)
