I'm tempted by this but haven't used my 28-70 enough yet to say yes to the deal.

Sounds like a test session is in order...

Yes, I've thought of that too since it's just sitting in my bag, unattached to a camera at present. I think I may just be too picky about how it renders and should lighten up on my criticallity of viewing images it makes. Been under the weather since Xmas so that hasn't helped at all either.

I'm looking to use it for capturing my kiddos and friends skiing, other "happy snaps" duty, where I don't need to be critical. The FE 50 is great, but I just prefer shooting the kinds of images I take with it using manual lenses.
