    Hi!

I'm looking for a good wrist strap for my NEX-5R. I've been looking at the Gariz ones, bit I can't decide which model I should get. What is the difference between them?

Are there any other good straps I should consider?

    Thanks

I personally tried a few, but did not care for them. I don't care for having something attached to my wrist.

I found this cheap leather strap on eBay a few years ago. It has worked (well) on three different cameras now.

Hi Bimjo, do you have a tutorial for this strap? Seeing this I feel like making one myself :)
    Thanks.

It's a variation of this lanyard. On mine the wrist loop is made using the snake knot to "spread the load" on your wrist.

for what it's worth I have the gariz (XS-WSM2) leather wrist strap and I LOVE it!
it's not cheap...but it IS classy/stylish AND it works at keeping the camera secure in/hanging from your hand...
and if secured/tightened onto your wrist the way it is intended to be secured/tightened the camera CANNOT fall off.

How did you remove the hook on the left side? I can't seem to figure it out and the dangling is driving me crazy.

I used the plastic tool that came with the camera.
