As suggested, getting the ball rolling...
'Ice' Skating (its on plastic!)
Fiancée and her besty...
Well, the calendar says Winter doesn't start for 2 weeks, but the thermometer says it's been here for over a week already, so close enough!
Ice/Snow just seemed wrong in Autumn! I always consider Winter as Dec/Jan/Feb rather than from 21st, easier that way
I cannot disagree.
What is this snow you speak of??
You beat me to it; I was thinking about starting the Winter PoD with these. About 4" of heavy, wet snow this morning, followed by freezing rain. Good hiking weather if I didn't have a previous commitment this afternoon.
I forgot to add these were from my 5R with the Yashinon-DX 45/1.7.
Good pics Tony, reminds why I'm in Florida for the winter.
How about a frozen night landscape with Venus dominating the sky? Minolta MD 24-35mm set at 24mm. No PP.
Too cold to go out and take pics tonight

I was hoping to catch the Geminids early this morning, but I only ended up with several like this. Minolta MD 24-35mm.
I missed the first 2 snowy days here but it looks like 3rd one coming this weekend. However I caught NY snow 3 weeks ago:
That first one is awesome!
Neat NY shots
The pictures breathe a festive atmosphere, nice. Out of curiosity I inspected the EXIF and boy o boy are you busted! These pictures have been made with a non-Sony GX7! ... Just kidding, I don't care.
Thanks everyone, NY was very lively even w/ snow and cold. Yes, gx7 is the quiet (e-shutter, -4EV af) sibling to nex-6, since I didn't have the A7R at that time... It was a busy week for me so hopefully I will start to kick A7R photos this weekend... It's been a cold and snowy December so far in US NE coast, it dropped to 12F(-11C) last night on the way to home...
Great pics Serhan, 1st is my favourite but both are good.
First attempt taking snowflake pictures:

Tomorrow - Will try to lower ISO. I used my Vivitar 90mm f/2.8 Auto Telephoto Macro with a 10 & 16 tube and a ring light. The flakes were very small.
