Took a drive past the lowland on the way home from work yesterday morning again hoping for some fog. The fog still didn't want to come out and play but the sky came to the party. I enjoyed watching the sky develop over this little scene I found last time I was out there.

Your work is usually of a high standard already, but here you cranked it up a notch IMHO. Stupefyingly beautiful. It teaches me that it's good to have scenes "in stock" where you can go to when the light is promising.

Thanks Ad, I do have a few scenes up my sleeve that I think when the conditions are right will produce some nice shots. Funny with this one though, seeing it was very dark when I got out there in the morning I actually went to the wrong dam. I got all setup and it wasn't until the sun started to glow on the horizon I realised I couldn't see the silhouette of the windmill. Lucky the right dam wasn't far away.

It's funny how the unexpected almost always interferes with the planned, especially in photography it seems!
