    Hi all,
I have set up in my body the exposuer lock button... as I wanted to give it try. Could you please inform me when you find it useful to lock the exposure?

I would like to thank you for your replies

I usually lock exposure if I want to "focus and recompose," and having the exposure locked to the object in focus would cause the whole picture to be over- or underexposed.

Also useful when taking multiple shots to be stitched into a panorama. Keeping all the shots at the same exposure to guarantee consistency.
