What does this SteadyShot icon in EVF mean (A7 ii)?

Hi,

The following icon appears in my A7 ii EVF with an Altson Canon-to-Sony Emount adapter+Canon EF mount lens:

and I wanted to know what that means? Does that just mean that SteadyShot is enabled/working for both stills and video?

Also, on the Canon lenses, if I set the lens OIS to ON, then the letters "OFF" appear next to the above icon in the EVF, and if I set the OIS to OFF, then the letters "OFF" in the EVF disappear.

Does that mean that if the lens OIS is ON that the A7 ii SteadyShot is disabled?

Thank,s
Jim

From the instructions of your body on pages 59-60 (free download from the Sony support site):

"In situations where the camera may be

subject to camera-shake, the

(Camera shake warning) indicator flashes.

In this case, use a tripod or the flash."

If it only glows (no flashing), then it means IBIS is operational
