    Just happened to be passing through and saw the title. My stomping grounds. #1 looks like somewhere in the New River Gorge, #2 is somewhere on the Kanawha River, I'm guessing you were near the state capitol and shooting across toward Kanawha City. The 3-story house with the boat launch looks familiar. #3 . . . I dunno. There are so many places like that on our rural byways.

    Nice group, Ted! West Virginia is a very special place for me. When my cancer was diagnosed I went to WVU's hospital, Ruby Memorial, in Morgantown. The doctor that developed the treatment for bladder cancer was the head of urology at Ruby. I ended up with a thirteen hour operation but that was almost twenty years ago. I will always have kind words for the residents of West Virginia!
