    Full Moon, August 10, 2014

My goal last night was to try for a ‘moonscape’ at a location on a lake that would have treelines / shorelines / water in the scene with a classic path of reflected moonlight coming across the water from the tree line in the distance, straight to me as soon as the moon cleared the trees.
Unfortunately the last several days of dark gloomy rainy weather was only just beginning to thin out some last night, and I got a couple chances at the moon itself but late, well past the time for a lower moon on the horizon moonscape I was hoping for. Atmosphere was very hazy with heavy moisture, thin layers of clouds…managed to pick off a couple shots and they’ll have to do for my 08/10/14 Full Moon attempt.

I really lucked out on the clear shot...combination of the clouds & the moon both moving in different directions, the moon just happened to appear in a fairly open hole in the clouds for a minute
