Yesterday's hike was a study in contrasts. As I mentioned in my "Wet Leaves" post, it was wet, muggy, and very foggy for more than 1/2 of the 11 miles I walked. The following photos were taken at 10:29am, 11:20am, 12:01pm, and 12:44pm, respectively. In fact, #3 was taken right after a prolonged period of rain. Note how just 43 minutes later, the scene has changed dramatically. I was still about 5 miles from my car at that point, and in places where the trail emerged from the trees, the sun was pretty intense. It was a great walk! 5R + MC Rokkor-PF 58/1.4.
