    I bought this voigtlander zoomar recently at a reasonable bid of 1€ - the seller was offering a buyout price of 150€ as well. So now I'm really curious about what it is I have purchased, and how bad or good is it. It seems to be a ghost on the internet, though; there are no details at all.

    Does anyone know anything about it? Thanks!

    So far first impressions:
    - feels heavy, so nailing critical focus and preventing shake is difficult at the length of 210mm;
    - at f/4 the borders are nothing to write home about, but at f/5.6 and f/8 it is ok;
    - chromatic aberation can be an issue;
    - for me, the mechanism of 'zooming' is weird - pull the barrel toward the camera to zoom in, push outwards to zoom out...

    A few sample images, all out of camera JPEGs. I did shoot RAW too, but no time to work with those, yet. Will post those separately as time permits. All the pics were made handheld, so shutter speeds around 1/100...
