My MD version of this lens arrived today. It definitely has some flare under the right conditions, but I'm happy with the purchase. A few examples:

seems to work fine, likewise I've been using the Auto Vivitar Wide-Angle but is M42, and works very well, is very sharp, but the IQ is not as good, is very good for landscapes, I even tried to do some portraits and works perfect, at f/4 -5.6 starts to be sharper than its maximum f/2.8 aperture.

    A few night shots

I prefer nature photos, but since I was out walking anyway, I decided to try a few around the neighborhood in extreme lighting conditions.
