I have this lens in MD mount, coupled with a Nex-5R, produces amazing results, but my copy seems to have a problem focusing at infinity.

This is pretty much the same as the Kiron 105mm f/2.8 Macro but with a different finishing.
It is also the same as the Lester A Dine Macro Lens 105mm 2.8 Lens.

Amazing sharpness, built like a tank (heavy) and extreeeemely long focus range, facilitating macro work.

    All shots handheld!

I'll post more as I continue using this lens.

    Very nice.

Often the adapters are just slightly off and make focusing to infinity not precise.

Interesting, I'll try fuzzing around with the adapter / lens / mount, maybe I have a problem with that.

It's been discussed a few times here. (Use the search function)

If I recall the solution was some sort of shim.

Excellent showcase photos from this fabulous lens.
I have been hunting for one. But the prices have been very high due to its rep.
One day may I find one in a garage sale. :D

That right there, is GAS wishful thinking, stuff of legends and urban mythos, bound to happen one time each decade, then again, I always peek among the camera stuff for sale on the flea markets !

The folk from who I bought this one, sold it to me on a reasonable price I have to say, as he also had the Lester Dine variant (!) but he's a Pentax shooter, this MD did not had much appeal to him.
