    2 more from a distance of my favorite mountain in the city...Superstition Mountain.
    A bit of P-P was necessary to compensate for the light and air pollution.

    your flickr pages for the birds say that it's a 500mm lens?

    some of those pics need the ca to be fixed, but they look pretty sharp... good technique, especially for 1/80th! do you remember what the aperture was?

    Oops! Thanks for the heads up on the typos, Dan!
    I presently don't have any software or a more 'permanent' set up to tune the photos due to a major transition period. So, all of my results are as-is with the exception of minor exposure, saturation and sharpness tweaks.

    The shots were taken at f/8 and f/11. That's when the lens yields a sharper image with less CA. Oh and the mountain face is 12 miles from my location.
