My latest Vivitar is this budget zoom. I just got the FD_NEX adapter yesterday, and snapped a few pics of last night's sunset. I realize late evening when the light intensity is dwindling rapidly is not the ideal time to test a lens, but I like sunsets, so away I went. I do plan on taking the lens hiking this weekend, so I'll get some "normal" pics and post them then.

A couple more taken wide open in blazing afternoon sun. Funny thing about our Day Lillies is that they were solid yellow until we planted the Tiger Lillies, then they began cross-pollinating.

Looks promising, like a character lens.

I think so. It feels a bit on the hefty side in the hands, but not too bad.

Here are a few close-ups taken in indirect morning light. I think they do a much better job of showing this lens's capabilities.
