I picked up another inexpensive lens to replace my decrepit Hanimex 80-200 I had bought at a pawn shop about 30 years ago. This time it's a Vivitar 100-200mm f/4 Close Focusing Auto Zoom that came with a Vivitar 100-200mm 2X Matched Multiplier. I don't intend to use the teleconverter, but it was a package deal, and the price was right. As with all old lenses, it has its pluses and minuses. Its closest focus distance is just under 3 feet, with a ratio of 1:3. Here are a few early attempts.
