    Those are all beautiful, Brian, especially the first two. And the way that lens renders the background, it's like buttah!

    I guess you would had hard time finding the right focus. What is the minimum focus distance of this lens?

    It is always hard to focus macro photos. A 90 mm lens at aperture 8 and focusing distance of 40 cm has got depth of field (technical, restricted by camera sensor) 2 mm (Nex 16 MP sensor). In practice blur will be too much for something like 1-2 cm or so. Quite many macro photos are stacked. One stack may contain tens or more photos.

    Minimum focus distance is 70cm, max magnification is 1:2 at 180mm
