This lens has a serial number starting with 22, so it's Kiron made. Available in various mounts.
It uses push-pull for zooming, and turning the same ring for focusing - people call this "1-touch".
MFD is about 0.8m. Very compact lens, great for hiking.

Some samples from Henry Coe State Park Back Country Weekend. It was too sunny for good pictures, but I'm reasonably satisfied with the lens.

Larkspur. Missed the focus a little bit because of the breeze, but I like the bokeh.

Nice shots. I know Dave really likes the copy of this lens that he has as well.

Thanks Jim. I remember Dave has the 2-touch version. Hope he can create a separate sample image thread.

I don't know, Dave, this is very subjective. I think your version is too contrasty and too dark that loses some detail, it also does not look like what I saw in the bright sun.

Still appreciate your opinion and advice.

Just in case either of us has the screen out of calibration, I would be interested to see what other people think.
    Thanks!

This has become one of my favorite adapted lenses (along with the Tamron 80-210 103A) for "macro" shots.

I got my copy for $12 off of eBay...hard to believe you can get a lens this good for less than twenty bucks!!

Looks like its Close Focus mode is excellent. Fantastic shots!
