    Do you mean soft at in-focus area, or in-focus area too small because of DoF?

    Sorry, just to clarify I mean the out of focus area - the bokeh looks good to me e.g. buttery and not busy.

    The second one was a bit too shallow, could have used a wider DoF.

    The other two are quite nice.

    I agree the 2nd one could use more DoF. I've heard other friends having the same comment.

    Two more. Tiny flowers of the spider plant, smaller than a US quarter. The 2nd one was using Tripod and self-timer.
