    My thoughts

1- It's heavy and wide, the heaviest I have owned. This is neither good or bad, it just depends on your desires. 72mm Wide is the payoff.

2- Focus travel is a twist and a half. By this I mean it takes more than one wrist turn to travel the entire spectrum. The advantage is that this gives you a lot of focusing room. The downside is that rapid adjustments are going to be hard if your using this for action shots.

3- The range is great. Enough said.

4- The minimum focus range is not close at all. You gotta stand way back.

On to the images. Nothing fancy, just random stuff around the house.

    1- Small barrel cactus.

    2- Flag

3- Fish tank, (say hi Buster) Clearly not the best, ISO too high, but I included it just for fun.

4- Light switch late at night. Another high ISO shot.

    5- Lighted wall

    6- Sunflower

I have yet to get a really good, "That's a great shot," shot. They all seem to have a bit too much noise, but I hope it is just because I am not using it right.

Finally got a somewhat sharp image. As I mentioned above, this is not a lens for quick action work. However, if you take some time the image is descent.

When stopped down all the way, (which is only 3.5), the background is a bit distracting.

Still not sure where I stand on this one yet. All the images have had a kind of hazy look. The lens itself look clean, so I don't know.
