    Hello mighty Nex-folks.
Today I'm happy to share some pictures with you too :).
Over the weekend me and some of my friends (amateur photographers and geocachers like me) made a trip to Berlin Beelitz.
There we visited an old area known as the "Beelitz Heilstaetten", a huge lung sanatorium complex near Berlin, opened in 1902.
The area is HUGE (200.000 m2) and 64 buildings.
Unfortunately the nature is getting things back after all the years, the Russians left the clinic as the last real users many years ago.
The complex is strictly closed to the public and can only be visited when getting a photo tour with some insiders.
For more information you can take a look here:
Beelitz - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (Wikipedia)
    Urban exploration: Beelitz-Heilstätten Sanatorium (inofficial)

I just want to show you some of the pictures I took over the weekend, some are out of camera, some have already been in pp today...

Glad I can post some interesting shots :) :) :)

No, no glass window. Long time exposure: 30 secs, aperture 11, ISO 100.
A friend of mine stepped in the picture at beginning of exposure and her face was highlighted with a flash just for 1 or 2 secs... ;-)

I really love your shots - I'm a huge fan of old abandoned building shoots, it is really fun stuff and creates a pretty desolate and empty feeling.

    Many thanks...
But to be honest I still have a lot to learn, exposure isn't perfect and also pp needs more studies ;-)
I think many people here produce really professional shots out of daily situations, and that's what amazes me every time!!!

I'm also not really 100% happy with my HDRs using "Fhotoroom HDR" (formerly known as "Artizen HDR") software, but "Photomatix Pro" or "HDR Projects Platin" are too expensive to get from my point of view...

Brilliant. I love the way abandoned buildings look in photos. It really shows the past in a way you just cant ever guess from the outside appearance. The desolation of some places in here can really be seen. I wish there was places like this to shoot around here.
