While Sony native XAVC S format can support video stream of 50Mbps, it is not supported in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6; In the meantime the supported AVCHD can only support video stream of 28Mbps. In order to have higher quality video recording, I use an Atmos Ninja Blade external recorder with Sony A7S to obtain broadcast 10-bit 4-4-2 quality recorded in Prores or DNxHD format.
