Bellafonte PA is a small town in Central Pennsylvania. It's located about 5-10miles from Penn State University. I had the opportunity to spend a few hours in Bellafonte walking the streets with my NEX-7 paired with the Sony Zeiss 24mm 1.8 and my Minolta Rokkor 50mm 1.4. You have to cross a surprisingly crazy intersection to get to this small park, but it was worth it. This fountain intrigued me. The "crazy" intersection is in the background. I kept walking around the fountain for different perspectives. From this angle the sun seemed to make the water glow. This little guy appreciated the fountain on a warm fall day. Looking up the street and a place to grab lunch. I found a cozy little pub. My reward. After my break I continued my walk. I think the statue is of the founder of Bellefonte. The name of the town means "natural spring" or something along those lines. The town is also know for it's flyfishing for those interested. An interesting building. I didn't have time to explore more as this was just a side adventure, but I'm glad I made the effort.
