The exterior of the original Town Hall (slash) Opera House.
What a lovely "old" feeling town.
The owner of the Boutique offered me a very special tour. The upstairs of the Town Hall also served as the town's Opera House. Sailors and their families could experience similar, though less opulent, cultures that the Rockefellers and Hannas were experiencing to the east in Cleveland's Playhouse Square. Note the blinds on the colored windows. This was the lighting system for performance. Light was provided by the sun and regulated by operating the blinds for color combinations. Remember, this was before electricity was popular.
I'll bet it was really something back in the day...
The current occupant of the Town Hall / Opera House.
