Val @ 0.95

    I posted this one on the adapted lenses thread before, but figure i'd post it on the portrait section as well.

    This was my GF on a night out, shot only with available light at night @ 0.95 with the awesome Canon 50 mm & A7R, not planned, just a "hey honey, look over here !" type shot :)

    This lens is very soft at this aperture, but does render a very dreamy look and bokeh, hope you like it.

    Yes those lights are terrific. Nice shallow depth of field and very nice image of your lady.

    I love the general softness of the photo, as well as the amazing blur on those lights.

    .95 has got to be tough to nail a good focus. :)

    The atmosphere created by the lens is something special. Very nice.

    Proves that sharp is not the most important quality for a lens.
