    Hello all,

I want to ask you if you have the budget to choose one zoom lens to use on Sony FF E-mount that is UWA with f2.8 and wouldn't mind the adapter, which one will you choose?

Anything is fine with me, i know the AF with adapter will be slow, so i can handle to use manual too

Well I have the rokinon 14 2.8 I really like. Its pretty big.

I also have a sigma 17-35 2.8-4 that is pretty good.

    Canon FL 19mm 3.5 excellent.

    I have a tokina 24-40 2.8 excellent sharpness

Probably not wide enough for you.

Well, i have Samyang 14mm, but this is prime, and i said i want a zoom lens, also i prefer if wider than 18 or even 17mm, i did put three lenses as choices and they all wider than 17mm [two start with 16 and the other with 14], i still have Sigma 12-24 mk1 but i didn't test that yet, but it is not f2.8, i was thinking about a fixed f2.8 lens.

So, let's make it more easier for discussion, if you have the money to buy one of the following three lenses to use on FF E-mount with adapter, which one will you choose?

    1. Canon EF 16-35mm 2.8 II
    2. Nikon [Nikkor] 14-24 f2.8
    3. Sony SAL 16-35 2.8 [A-mount]

Also Tamron has announced about 15-30mm f2.8, but that is not in market yet and not sure when it will be available and what will be the quality, i am sure the price will be way cheaper than the above 3 lenses top lines, i can wait but not so very long, and pity/shame that even this Tamron lens didn't have E-mount version too from the announcement.

Nikon 14-24 outresolve that of Canon ones, but i am not sure if it is way much better than Sony 16-34 f2.8 SAL one, Sony has Zeiss quality which is known for the pq for years, but who knows how much great quality is that Nikon 14-24 on Sony E-mount body over Sony A-mount lens on Sony E-mount itself
