Looks a very capable camera.
Each has their own strengths and weaknesses.
Too expensive to jump ship - again!!
Great if you are already a Nikon user though

I'm still a Nikon shooter and while I love my Sony bodies for prime and portrait shooting, it doesn't have the range or quality on the telephoto end. A Z body plus FTZ adapter will give you access to a bunch of affordable and sharp telephoto lenses. Decisions!

It looks great but short of discovering a rich dead uncle I'm going to have to wait until the Z12 before the Z7 becomes attainable for me. It's a very interesting time for the camera market though with the new mirrorless full frame offerings all coming at once - however good these cameras are, I think waiting until the dust settles from the initial clashes to see how the market reacts may be the prudent thing to do .
