First professional gig with the A6000. The low light performance of the EVF is a fantastic boon to doing near dark strobe portraits. I can see much more clearly, more clearly than even an optical viewfinder. It's like having night vision, almost. These photos were taken with either the Canon FD 50mm 1.4 or the Minolta MD mount Sigma 28mm 2.8. Enjoy!

Thanks guys, it's nice to have a viewfinder on my camera now, was using a 5n before which served me well but sometimes you just want a viewfinder. :)

Yep, these are great! Love your processing too. How many flashes did you use?

The only thing I - personally - would change is to get rid of the umbrella in the second picture. Hiding the flash without modifiers behind his head yields a similar lighting result without the distracting umbrella.

Thanks! Just two fairly cheap Yongnuo 560II with two softboxes for the inside shots. The last two are outside with just one softbox high left to fill in his face and maybe a reflector bottom left. If I can get more paying gigs I want to get a Paul C Buff 64" Silver parabolic umbrella due to it being much more efficient at reflecting light and it makes some very nice spectral highlights.

Thank you all for the encouragement, here are two final images from the shoot. One is a simple head shot.
