Tokina 90mm f/2.5 Macro AT-X (Bokina)
Some wildflowers from Henry Coe State Park, Califonia
Nice images, nice and smooth OOF rendition
Is that Bokeh + Tokina = Bokina?
Yes, it got its name in this discussion thread: Nickname for Tokina AT-X 90mm f/2.5
Haha... I like that!! Giving favourite lenses a nickname
Ok, that makes my little Olympus 1.4 a "bozuikeh" lens that is zuikolicious.
Dude, take a breath already.
I have to agree here, very nice rendering of the scene.
These are incredibly narrow DOFs you're working on Brian. It must've been hard to decide where to place the point of focus with shots like these (let alone deal with any wind movements). These are great... I bet those insects helped with the focusing decisions too.
Congratulations friend, you have a very good macro lens, sharpness and contrast.
Really lovely work, Brian!
Thanks guys for the encouragement. I got lucky today there was fog this morning - great even/non-harsh light.
Great series. I’m really surprised by the stunning bokeh of this lens. My plan was to wait for a similar fast original E-mount lens but these pictures make me doubt. Very, very nice! Thanx for sharing.
Very nice shots.
Look great, only critic might be to darken the images just a touch.
Very nice, love the bugs you got.
Gotta be quick on the shutter, cause they don't sit still for long.
I have been looking that lens for about a year or so. It is understandable that people don't sell it. I wouldn't. I finally settled on Takumar 100 mm macro. I hope that I will get it this week.
Very nice shots, I love macro.
Great set, one of my favourite but underused lens
