The star of the show

    I'm not a portrait person; I typically limit my pics to outdoorsy stuff. However, a night out with family that I don't see much prompted me to take my camera. I just used the indoor lighting of the restaurant and bumped it up to ISO 3200 and f/4, which also narrowed the DOF to what I wanted. No flash. I applied noise reduction in PP and softened them a bit. This is my 9-month old great niece, her mommy, grandma, and grandpa. Daddy is in the military and unable to attend. MC Rokkor-PF 58/1.4

    Very pleasant shots.

    It is awsome that we can get descent shots without a flash, especially in a restaurant type setting.
