The Ravens of the Tower

    Just returned from a weeklong trip to the UK (London, mainly, but also visited Cardiff and Oxford). I'll be processing photos for a year now...

    Anyway, here's a couple shots of the famous ravens "guarding" the Tower of London.

    From Wiki:

    "A group of six captive ravens live at the Tower of London. Their presence is traditionally believed to protect the Crown and the tower; a superstition holds that "if the Tower of London ravens are lost or fly away, the Crown will fall and Britain with it".

    These are some massive birds, and completely unafraid of humans.
