I was in Egypt for business last week and quite busy but I could not leave the country without seeing the Pyramids. On my last night I booked a Uber and despite a heavy traffic I went to Gizeh (1:30 drive for 35km...). Actually I was quite lucky because the site was open and I should not have reached it so close. There was an official event going on with lots of security check points but we bizarrely passed all of them but last one. I was already at the gate but we were asked to leave the site. We should not even got in from the very first check point. Anyway, before leaving I went out the car, took my camera, quickly, secretly and reached the closest point to the Great Pyramid I could. I tried to find a composition and "stole" some images. This is the best one I got.

Good image, especially with the varying types of light.

I agree, It's difficult to mix multiple color temperatures in an image well but you nailed it. I've not thought much about basing my framing on contrasting color temps but this has me intrigued. I'll have to go and give it a try.

Thanks Kendall. Much of the work was done in LR.
