I picked up the 16-35mm a few weeks ago and one of the things I love about this lens (and shooting full frame) is the ability to shoot both ultrawide @16mm as well as provide some decent background separation @35mm f4. While the lens is a bit bulky compared to my m4/3 kit, it can basically replace both the Olympus 9-18mm f4-5.6 and Panasonic 20mm f1.7 lenses at the same time in the type of shots it can create. I think this will be a great walk-around lens for vacations.

Enough talk, how about the photos?

Yeah, it became an instant favorite of mine too. Sort of like the Panasonic 7-14 from my ยต4/3 days, only much better and more versatile.

I like #2. This sort of thread isn't good for me my bank account.

and WITH Filter mount at that :) ND's, Polarizers..... unlike the Pana 7-14 or about to be released 7-14 Oly.
the Oly 9-18 was never that wide and at 18 (36mm) became f/5.6
Love my 16-35 f/4 as well....
