The 'Eye' doesn't always have to be in focus for an interesting photo

    Experimenting with a short tele / distant shots on small subjects like Birds, couldn't pass this one up.
    It’s amazing to me how much detail large sensors collect…then allow severe cropping while preserving so much detail.

    Male Cardinal "Dumpster Diving" for sunflower seeds at about 40 feet, overcast diffused / fairly good light.
    Canon FDn 135 / 2.8 tele, NEX-7, Manual Mode, Spot Metering, Daylight WB, ISO400, 1/100, F8
