I went on a field trip with the Cleveland Photographic Society today. We visited the B&O Roundhouse restoration center. Within the property are numerous engines of various types and dozens of other train cars. All await restoration that can run a million dollars or more for each. (All the photos were taken with A7II and 16-35/4 or 55/1.8 lens.)

Lovely series, I love this stuff. That 'Batman locomotive' looks darn serious. Any background info on that one?

I don't have any information or background on any of the engines or cars. :shakehead:

This is not my photo, but it is the same engine when assembled.

Thanks, Ted. Once restored this machine would make for a terrific movie prop IMO.

It's the lens. The 55/1.8 is amazing. All you have to do is point it. The lens does all the work.

Are these SOOC or have you done a lot of PP to them?
That is some seriously old heavy equipment for sure. Really nice set, I've enjoyed looking, thanks for sharing them.
