Ok... although I know I won't win I decided to join in with some of my personal important memories of 2012 in pictures.
All of them shot with my Canon G12 in the pre-NEX era...

But I had to admit that the one picture showing me in the dress of my home Baseballteam has been shot by a friend of mine with his Sony Alpha 66...

I didn't have not much time for photography in the recent months so my entries are mostly from the first part of 2012. My participation here has been even more endemic, but I saw this beautiful thread and wished to jump in. Winning the lens is not my motive at all as I already have my copy; it's just the joy of photography that I miss. And on top of that, I prefer my Minolta 45mm f2 which I used to shoot most of these

I agree, these pictures are amazing, love the first, second and last.

Looking at yours taken with NEX 3 + Rokkor 45mm/2, makes me guilty of GAS. I really should focus on using what I have (which is already quite a lot), and developing the eyes. Thanks for sharing!

@pictogramax: You've got an awesome style! Just one question: In your second picture, did you edit the black around her in or is this how it came out of the camera thanks to the flash?

@Grisu_HDH: I like the first and second picture of your part #2 posting. I personally hate this kind of natural green in photos - especially landscapes - (controversially, green is my favorite colors ...), but it's important to develop one's own style, so I'm eager to see what you'll come up with in a few years!

I started taking photos in August of 2012. The NEX-5n and now NEX-7 are the only interchangeable lens cameras I have ever used, so all of these are NEX.

I kept The Fungus Lens because I sold you the pristine twin unit I had, and so was stuck with the moldy kid. So you need to narrow down 10 shots and post them asap. Hint, some B&W Andrew pics would be welcome, as well as you recent (in great stride) progress with the Pristine Twin
