Testing Canon FDn 70-150 / 4.5 zoom on NEX-7 under cloudy, very low light conditions

    Bluejay at 40’…zoom at 150mm...arms resting on window sill.
    Used B&W with higher than normal ISO under cloudy, very low light conditions.
    NEX-7, ISO800, Spot Metering, AP mode, F4.5, 1/100

    The light was so poor, not using a tripod I knew there was no way I'd get a shutter that would give me a keeper shot.
    Thought about the high ISO noise maybe being less of an issue in B&W, gave it a try it at 800 as an experiment.
    B&W doesn't do the Bluejay justice of course as they're such a beautiful bird, but it was an educational step along the learning curve.
