Some photos taken with the SMC Tak and some extension tubes.
Good stuff. Great colours.
I've had this lens for awhile (bought it from a member here) but haven't used it much.
It's really like it. Colour is great, it has a soft bokeh and sharpness is good, but the real joy is in the handling. It balances just wonderfully on my NEX-7 and the focus action is smooth as butter.
Wonderful photos there Colin, and I agree the colours are great - thanks for sharing
Takumars are one of best when it comes to handling. I just got Contax 85mm/2.8 and it is even better than the Takumars. Of course it is only half of the age of takumars.
According to Super-Multi-Coated TAKUMAR/Super-Takumar 105mm F2.8 Reviews - M42 Screwmount Telephoto Primes - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database , it's either Super TAKUMAR, or Super-Multi-Coated TAKUMAR. I got the Super version, and I like it very much. So far there is not a Takumar that I don't like.
I also have some Contax, I don't feel they're any better in terms of handling.
Thanks. I corrected the title.
