Bergen is the second largest city in Norway. It is nice here, but it ALWAYS rains. (Well not always, it just feels that way. On average it rains 213 days a year. In 2007 it rained 84 days in a row).

    But today it is sunny!

The city is really different on days like this.

Not easy to take an original picture of Bryggen, but I tried!

Bryggen is probably the most photographed buildings in Bergen. Bryggen has since 1979 been on the UNESCO list for World Cultural Heritage sites.

You can still se traces of snow on the hills surrounding the city. Let´s hope it doesn´t start snowing again.

I met an angry cat, he completly ignored me. Rude. He was watching a dog further down the street.

Just got the 55mm Zeiss and I am pretty impressed by it so far.

    Thanks for looking!

Agree. We get to see sights we may never visit in real life.

    Beautiful!

Agree on being part of an international forum! My heritage is Norwegian (and Swedish and Scottish) and my mother and I always said we would go there some day. This makes me want to start making plans now!

Scotland - Do Edinburgh, the architecture is AMAZING! I was there last week on my Stag Do and am now having to go back with my camera!
Norway - the Fjords are stunning! You can actually go on a cruise around them from Scotland (combine 2 in 1 trip!). Friend did the cruise and LOVED it!
Sweden - Don't go in August, it's empty, they all go on holiday to Southern Europe. Made getting around Stockholm easier though!
