Summertime, Summertime, Sum, Sum, Summertime! Ok, not for another 6+ hours, but close enough for the interwebs. ;)

Someone who is undergoing bad times might find themselves potentially facing this- shredded credit.

Some sort of nymph. Used my recently acquired Cosina 100mm 3.5 macro. 1:1 ... this guy is only about a centimeter in length... not counting those long hind legs.

I rode down to Cal Poly to see my niece graduate, and then took the scenic route back to Oregon. You can tell it's summer in San Francisco: the fog's rolling in.

Today is not a very summerlike day. Kinda cool and very overcast. But I has a new lens so I must shoot it. ;)

Berries on the holly bush. Leica Elmar 135/4 @ f/8 from about 8 feet or so.

And a crop, about ⅓ of the frame.

It seems a little bit soft wide open, but stopped down it's pretty sharp. :)

I do like the way that lens renders a photo. Really nice definition.

I have read for some time that this is the best of the Leica 135s. I could easily believe it.

How expensive was it? 135mm tends to be a bit more affordable. But Leica is never particularly affordable...

I wandered around Lithia Park this afternoon with the Olympus Pen F 38mm f/1.8, trying to convince myself that I'd be better off if I replaced it with the Sony 35mm f/1.8.
