Well, assuming you actually like snow!

And how about a little snow-on-a-stick to go with the grass?

I might crop the bottom off that last one to get rid of the sycamore ball. Maybe not. [shrug]

Snow and ice crystals is a fantastic material. Have you tried to take macro photos of it?

No I haven't tried a macro yet. I have to dig all the macro stuff out of the closet. The snow will probably be gone before I get to it. ;)

I messed around in the closet and found some old between rings from Olympus/Vivitar and an adaptor. The stand was not available so it was a challenge to keep the camera quiet enough. This in addition to very little daylight this time of year there were some attempts images.

I think the main challenge is to have an ok tripod?

Awesome crystals! Yeah, tripod required for me. Some people seem to be able to shoot macro without one, but I'm not one of them. :(

I like your picture of three branch. As you write, it is also good for the crop. Took me the freedom to try.

But often one should not change what it is made!

Hmmm… tough clone spot, it's right on the edge of the blur.

Amazing shots. Snow sure is fun, until you have to shovel it.

Yes hmmm. It went a little fast! It was just a quick test to see how the view would be. This digital world is perfect to play around with our computers.

    Thanks and Amen! LOL

    Thanks Nick.

Oh yes, photography is much more fun in the digital age. I went back and cloned the ball and twig out, but didn't crop it. It wasn't as hard as I initially thought it would be. Thanks for the idea, I was just going to crop the whole thing off.

You're welcome. Fortunately I haven't had to shovel any of it yet. ;)

Well, at first glance I didn't think it would clone out very well, but your effort convinced me to try, so thank you! ;)
