I love the Sony 50mm f/1.8 OSS lens for portraits with the A6400 APSC format camera. It is sharp, and the Eye-AF is quick and accurate. IMO, it is also, at 75mm equivalent, a pretty darn nice portrait lens...
I think that it is the "Best Bang For Your Buck" in the Sony APSC lens lineup...

Charming shots and yes the 50mm is still one of the best lenses on the APS-C side of the E-Mounts.
