Sony launches support program for pro photographers in an attempt to persuade more pro photographers to switch from dslr http://https://esupport.sony.com/info/1523/US/EN
Interesting that they would jump into the pro support fray. I guess it fits with the rumor that the A mount bodies are going to be high-end models only from here on out. E mount seems to be the enthusiast line going forward.
I think it was about time they did something like this (which the other two big DSLR names already have). I think one of the reasons that many Pro's had second thoughts about switching to (Sony) mirrorless was the lack of support on behalf of Sony...
Actually, the way I read it, the e-mount full frame cameras (i.e., the a7 series) would qualify. I can't believe they'd exclude those, as they're the reasons many of the pro switchers are coming over (they're what brought me from 23 years of Canon to Sony). https://esupport.sony.com/info/1523/US/EN EDIT: I haven't gotten around to registering - maybe it's time.
