If you could determine Sony's E-Mount (NEX) lens roadmap for the next five years, what would it look like? Here's one take by Canadian photographer, Chris Kroeger: Image by Chris Kroeger, used with permission Above, from left to right: 12mm f/5.6 rectilinear, Zeiss 14mm f/2 rectilinear (mislabeled "18mm"), 16mm f/2.8, 18mm f/2.8, Zeiss 24mm f/ 1.8, 30mm f/2, 50mm f/2.8 (collapsed), 50mm f/2.8 (expanded), 50mm f/1.8 OSS, Zeiss 60mm f/2, 70mm f/2.8 OSS (collapsed), 70mm f/2.8 OSS (expanded), 85mm f/1.4 OSS, 135mm f/2 OSS. Image by Chris Kroeger, used with permission Above, from left to right, above: 200mm f/4, 135mm f/2, 85mm f/1.8, 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 Image by Chris Kroeger, used with permission Above, from left to right: Zeiss 24mm f/1.8, 30mm f/2, 35mm f/1.4, Zeiss 35mm f/1.4 (different optical formula), 50mm f/2.8 (collapsed), 50mm f/1.8 OSS. According to Chris, all of the above are true representations of how big or small the lens would be. He hasn't yet completed the zoom lineup and while I look forward to seeing that, I would be a very happy camper if the lens above came to pass. I'd pick the 18mm f/2.8, 30mm f/2, and Zeiss 60mm f/2. What about you?
