    Thanks for the links Serhan.

For $999 the 24mm 1.8 seems to have a fair amount of CA ( not only at 1.8 but even when stopped down) , a bit of barrel distortion as well, OOF rendition looks ok ( bit harsh, but that’s just me).

(I'm not an expert just IMHO)

I think 50mm is the winner for the price point. I don't know the 24mm. More samples are coming. Sonyalpharumors posted some raw/jpeg files but I don't know which software can open raw files.

From Steve Huff's tests with M9 and 5N with Leica 50 Lux ASPH, there is a lot of purple fringing on the nex shots. I saw that on the nex-5 with Voigtlander 75mm lens.

Yeah, I think so too. I had a look a Steve Huff's tests and there's a heaps of purple fringing on the NEX (some on the M9 too), then again the Lux goes up to 1.4, super sharp even wide open, and has really nice bokeh. Then again the Leica 50 Lux ASPH retails at $3700+ USD, at that price the $999 Zeiss is not looking to too expensive ;)

Thanks for these, Serhan. If I were going to shoot exclusively NEX, these two lenses would be the basis of my kit. Since I am using two systems (MFT and NEX), it's a much tougher decision, and the Zeiss is out of my price range.

I am in the same boat with m43 and nex. Zeiss is too expensive for me also.
