Good evening fellow, here again, I want to share some of my pictures with my new lens 55-210mm F/4.5-6.3 NEX OSS, this is a good lens, it has great clarity and fairly quick and accurate focusing, during my use this week , the OSS system worked very well in controlling camera shakes, the produced bokeh is great too.

thnks for watch this post and coments please....

In this picture I was surprised , the great performance in low light, and the noise is very low, I loved the job done in B & W.

This last picture is really good, you can see the hairs of the flower with sharpness and clarity.

Those are all well focused shots Freddytto!

I'm beginning to think that this zoom lens had been unfavourably judged due to the apertures being on the slow side - but with OSS and the low-grain NEX sensor, I think the lens is as good as you say. Perhaps it should be judged it by its performance rather than the fstop numbers... love that bokeh!

that's true, there are many negative criticisms about this zoom, but personally for me is a great zoom.

Yep, I think this is a great lens and it has been favourably judged by the Photozone:-

Sony E 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 OSS (SEL-55210) - Review / Lens Test

On the strength of photos, taken with this lens, that I've seen posted on this forum recently I've just ordered the 55-210 but guess what...........it's out of stock!

Maybe some people don't like it coz it's too slow but I see this as a benefit as it keeps the lens small and the OSS adds stability. If I want fast lenses I prefer prime lenses!
Cheers,
Paul

Freddytto,
I forgot to say the 2nd & 3rd shots of the rose are excellent! I prefer the crop on the colour version though as it isn't so tight and shows a wider view with the wet leaves.

Other than that, the shot looks good in both colour and B&W, which surprises me.
Cheers,
Paul

I also have this lens and love it. All your shots are great but I am especially impressed with the first. ISO 3200? Wow!
