I just picked up the 28mm f/2 this week! I'm not sure I'm liking the color signature on this lens. It has a bit too much blue tinge for my taste. I'm used to the warmer colors I get from my MF Nikkor and Voigtlander lenses. I'll probably have to make a color profile to change up the colors a bit. Other than that I found it quick to focus and pretty sharp!

All shot with the A7 and 28mm f/2 FE:

Thanks Nick! Now I'm trying to decide what lens to get next. I really want to replicate what I had on M43, but there's no 75mm 1.8 equivalent or native fisheye. I'm not a fan of adapters!
Are you OK with MF? The Rok 8mm/2.8 comes in a native E-Mount. I might even sell mine now that I have the Rok 12/2.0 (but maybe not, lol)

I'm shooting FF so I'll need to get an FF Fisheye. I wish Samyang/Rokinon made an FF fish!

Another excellent group, Jonathan! I just sold my old Nikon gear and used the funds to purchase the 28 F2. I'm looking forward to using it.

Have you done anything with the colors in post, Jonathan? I really like what I see here.

I process my raws through ACR and I have a couple custom sharpening and color profiles that I use, I then tweak the sliders to my liking, open the file in Photoshop CC and add any additional tweaks I might like. I actually find the 28mm (or perhaps most Sony glass) to be on the cool side, so I tend to try and boost the warm tones slightly. My MF Nikkor and Voigtlander glass is definitely render differently with stronger reds out the box.

Just some quick snaps with the FE28 on an original A7. Took my (very active) 1.5 year-old daughter to a local street fair/food truck expo yesterday. She's a lot of fun but makes it difficult to take pictures of anything unless she's the subject. These are all cropped and processed to taste.
