I use the joystick to focus and I try to point it where I want. I found that way, to get a decent focus after struggling for some time with the Sony system. In this picture the focus was on the trees.

I made this photo duplicating the layers of one raw file and using masks so I could use it as background in the Zoom meetings.

Let me say something about one photograph to begin with.
The f/1.8 was intensional. I had just shot another photograph in another location which was a none interest and I erased it as soon as I imported it.
I made an exposure compensation as I was afraid of the white areas of the motorcycle while viewing through the EVF.
In fact that was the reason why I shot this ! To get the best result under a photograph with a little more difficulty as usual.
In location and at the moment I could't remember to turn the zebras warning on. Silly me !
This is the original RAW file with just the Lens Corrections in LR

This is indeed a fantastic lens. This one and the 24mm GM ! Both !
I am afraid to buy another Sony Prime and not get the same gorgeous... everything: bokeh, sharpness whatever !
I have thought to get a Zeiss Batis 18mm but will it be as godo as these GM ?

I think there is here a small detail which may be the result of ... I don't know, really.
Even this small problem appears in the original raw file, where I made a screen capture from
