My Grey Import A7R3 suddenly stopped working a few weeks ago.
I contacted the Company I bought it from and they said no problem, just send it to Sony UK and when they come back with a price for repair let them know and they will put the money into my Paypal account.
I contacted Sony and filled out the form, dropped it off at the Post Office with free postage that Sony provide,
A few days later I got a reply that they have a fixed price for camera repairs £117 inc taxes and carriage both ways, so I told the company I bought it from and they had the money in my Paypal account the next day.
A week later Sony advised all fixed and had been shipped and I received it the next day.
So all in ll a good outcome.
I'm impressed that Sony have a fixed price for camera repairs, £117 inc taxes and carriage both ways is very reasonable I think if you have to pay outside a warranty repair.
